3) Let people, who bud in line just go to the till before you. I saw this crazy lady the other day yell at a friendly lady who unknowingly went first because she didn't see the line. The other lady made a scene and demanded to pay for her baby's maraca before the other lady and then gave the cashier attitude. Some people, I tell you.
4) Give your neighbour a gift, even if you're scared of her because you think she's mad at you. Walk up to her door and hand her a nice bath and body kitchen soap, just do it. JUST DO IT!
5) make the most of driving west to east on HWY401. So what, you're doing it twice in one weekend. Make sure the i-pod is charged and click play on your Winter Wonderland playlist and laugh when you're husband starts to sing along to Jewel.
6) Don't feel ashamed for buying Life brand coffee, Holiday Blend. Its surprisingly quite tasty and frankly, the optimum points, along with the sale price makes the taste all the more sweeter.
7) Christmas potlucks. Just tell the organizers what you're bringing alright. Although it doesn't matter to you if there are 7 salads, some people only one 2 salads, 2 meat dishes, 1 rice dish, 1 noodle dish, 1 bread and 2 desserts. So just stick to it, buy it, put it in your own bowl and pass it off as your own. "This tastes like Ziggy's macaroni salad", "oh...uh.. haha... I get that all the time!"
8) Put a broach on your jacket, even if you have a baby that you might scratch. It makes the outfit pop and since you have nothing else up christmasy, you might as well adorn your chest. Men like that.
9) Watch Its a Wonderful Life, because I just did, last night. I've never watched it before. Its so full of dialogue! I didn't get it at all. I think my mind automatically shuts off when people talk about loans and bonds and mortgages. It feels like Math 23 all over again.
10) In amongst the speed of the season is an actual meaning. try to find it. Its about Peace who came here so that we wouldn't have to be slaves to our expectations anymore.
